Holiday Hop & Shop – Saturday, April 4th
Kick off your Saturday with us at our Holiday Hop & Shop, happening from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM along Lakeshore Avenue.
Bring the whole family and enjoy a festive morning filled with activities:
- Golden Egg Hunt
We’ve partnered with European Wax, IB’s, Chi, Wind & Water, and The Bar Method to host a special Golden Egg Hunt. Keep your eyes peeled as you shop—three golden eggs are hidden throughout participating Lakeshore businesses, each filled with exciting prizes!
- Party on the Green (10–11 AM)
In partnership with Lakeshore Baptist Church, we’ll have music, community vibes, and a great place to gather before the parade.
- Community Parade (Starts at 11 AM)
Meet us at the church and join the parade as we make our way down Lakeshore collecting colorful eggs filled with candy and small prizes—perfect for families, kids, and anyone who wants to celebrate the season together.
Celebrating Our Local Businesses
We’re proud to highlight some exciting milestones from our Lakeshore business community:
- Crazy Block Cheesecakes celebrated their 1-year anniversary on March 14
- 3319 Marché marked 2 years on Lakeshore on March 28
- True Clothing celebrated a Grand Reopening in their new location down the street, partnering with neighbor BodyRok to treat customers to special swag bags

What’s Coming Soon
Keep an eye out—Nick the Greek will soon be opening its doors in the former Top Dog location. Signage is already up, and we’re excited to welcome them to the neighborhood!
Working Toward a Stronger Lakeshore
In mid-March, the BID met with City Councilmember Charlene Wang’s office to discuss ways to activate Lakeshore Avenue and bring new life into the remaining vacant storefronts. We’re committed to continuing this momentum and strengthening our business district.
Save the Date: Lakeshore Spring Festival
Mark your calendars for our Spring Festival on Saturday, May 30th from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
It will be a full day of:
- Local vendors
- Delicious food
- Live entertainment
- Family-friendly fun
Please note: Lakeshore Avenue (from Lakepark to Mandana) will be closed to traffic from 5:00 AM – 11:30 PM to make room for the festivities.
