Delicious Treats
That amazing Rhubarb Spongecake is Bardo’s magnificent creation made with raspberry cake, rhubarb mousse, amaretto creme anglaise, almond lace cookie, raspberry coulis, mint & tarragon syrup (yum)! Delicious photo snapped by one of their Google Reviewers (thanks, K R!).
Shakewell created a new dessert: a chocolate crema catalana with nut & seed brittle and whipped cream (yum!). Pretty sure these will be popular, so get there early before they run out!
Pizzetta Geraldine wood-fired pizza that sources from local farms is at Shakewell from 12:30-8:00 pm. Order there or also at The Cat House from 4-8:30 pm. They do in-person and pick up but no delivery.
Going Retro on Lakeshore
Remember playing Mad Libs? Mad Libs was invented in 1953, and it consists of one player prompting others for a list of words to substitute for blanks in a story before reading aloud. Silver Moon Kids has a large assortment of this great party game available now in-store on online!
Grow up playing Pac-Man? Heart and Dagger’s Pac-Man tabletop game is back! Have a nostalgic day and check it out. Heart and Dagger is open at 3:00 pm on weekdays and 12:00 pm on weekends.
